HTC One X+ to T-Mobile with Tegra 3 – 42Mbps HSPA+

Originally thought to be T-Mobile USA’s G3  a device listed on a purported internal screenshot, obtained by TmoNews, as the HTC Era 42 is now being billed the HTC One X+.

At one point, there was a rumor about a device with the codename, “HTC Era 2” that was reportedly to ship with Nvidia’s Tegra 3 as well as support for T-Mobile HSPA+ network. Reportedly, the HTC Era 2 is the HTC One X+ for the T-Mobile network. Supposedly, the handset is very similar in fashion to the other HTC One series phones with just as impressive specs. Taylor from Android and Me stated the reason  for the plus is that the HTC One X+ could be the first device to be powered by Qualcomm’s new quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor or even the 1.7 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3+.

Some sources say that you’ll be able to get your hand on this phone around the middle to late September. This is going to be one of the first quad-core phones in the USA to run a cellular network (rather than WiFi only) and hopefully, it’ll be a fire starter.
