Image Leak – Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) priced at $309

The popular home shopping merchant QVC appears to have “accidentally” revealed the price of the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 with 8GB and no cellular connectivity. The Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch was unveiled back in February… Its pretty much just refresh of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, with Ice Cream Sandwich being its most appealing addition. Otherwise you get the same 7-inch 1024×600 LCD screen, 1.2Ghz processor, and a choice of 8, 16 or 32GB capacities, with an added MicroSD card slot. Given QVC’s list price we can expect the 8GB model to sell for $299 elsewhere, as they generally don’t have the best prices.

Samsung recently announced that the tablet’s release has been delayed in favor of releasing it with Ice Cream Sandwich, however, so we’re not so sure how soon it’s going to hit the market. Still, at least we have a good idea of what type of price point to expect.

About Web Ninja

I am an avid web designer and technology compelled me into journalism. My career started out with a blog about how to hack your Windows PC, but it developed into my love for Apple (which is now nonexistent). Before I was introduced to Android I was an Apple fanboy, I loved anything apple, iPhones, iPods, Macs, etc. Then, I was in Best Buy with a friend and he was buying a phone... An Android phone running Cupcake (1.6). He wasn't the techiest friend a guy could have, but he still loved technology. Now, this was a new phone at the time and of course, he had to get it. I thought the phone was going to be a ripoff of an iPhone but, soon I realized that it had potential. That's how my Android love developed. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Sprint as well as an HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon.
