Definite Galaxy Note 10.1 Announcement Date

Invite e-mails arrived for a special event to be held by Samsung Electronics America next month, where the manufacturer promises to show off the “new way”.

The e-mail sent out indicates that this will be a “major product announcement,” but gives no real clues as to what exactly will be unveiled. The invitation depicts an outline of a device with tablet dimensions in casual, artistic lines. The hand drawn style might have something to do with the Galaxy Note 10.1, which we first saw back at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Rumor has it that Samsung went back to the drawing board with Note 10.1 and juiced it up a little. In May, it showed up in Germany with Exynos quad-core processor and a smaller S Pen. Not long ago the “new” Galaxy Note 10.1 showed up in a video ad:

Now, a fresh August 15 invite promises that we’ll “Meet the new way”. Interestingly, the above video ad ended with the slogan “Note, the new way”.

We also know that the Galaxy Note 2 is to be unveiled at IFA because of another invitation from Samsung to witness the “Magical Moments Come Alive”.

About Web Ninja

I am an avid web designer and technology compelled me into journalism. My career started out with a blog about how to hack your Windows PC, but it developed into my love for Apple (which is now nonexistent). Before I was introduced to Android I was an Apple fanboy, I loved anything apple, iPhones, iPods, Macs, etc. Then, I was in Best Buy with a friend and he was buying a phone... An Android phone running Cupcake (1.6). He wasn't the techiest friend a guy could have, but he still loved technology. Now, this was a new phone at the time and of course, he had to get it. I thought the phone was going to be a ripoff of an iPhone but, soon I realized that it had potential. That's how my Android love developed. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Sprint as well as an HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon.
