Sprint’s LG Viper To Be Available for Preorder April 12

Sprint’s just given us the heads up that the LG Viper 4G LTE will be available for preorder on April 12. ts 4-inch NOVA display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera and NFC radio (along with Google Wallet) will be up for pre-order starting April 12. The Viper, which we got a look back at CES in January, won’t be the new 2012 powerhouse. But the price is reasonable — $99 on contract, with $50 mail-in rebate. And best of all the deal includes 50GB of cloud storage from Box. The availability of this phone and any other of Sprint’s upcoming 4G LTE phones is important because it also signifies the timing of the release of Sprint’s new 4G LTE networks. Right now, it looks as if we can expect the new 4G networks soon.
