Acer Announces Liquid Glow Smartphone Ahead of MWC

Acer is the latest to release a pre-MWC phone that will be known as the “Liquid Glow”. The phone is said to provide  “the ultimate balance between style, performance, and affordability” and with its design, specs, and price it might achieve its tagline. But we don’t have all the specs…

The Liquid Glow has a 3.7-inch display, 5-megapixel rear camera, and NFC capabilities (Acer’s 2nd phone with NFC), and will be available in early summer. As for processor, screen type, radios, and the rest, details are a little thin on the ground at the moment. The new phone will come in “trendy colors” : “Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat’s-Eye Black.”

The phone looks like a awesome handset based upon the released press image. With a name like Liquid Glow, I’m expecting some powerful insides. We’ll find out more about those things next week at Mobile World Congress, where the Liquid Glow will be on show. The phone will start shipping early summer.

About Web Ninja

I am an avid web designer and technology compelled me into journalism. My career started out with a blog about how to hack your Windows PC, but it developed into my love for Apple (which is now nonexistent). Before I was introduced to Android I was an Apple fanboy, I loved anything apple, iPhones, iPods, Macs, etc. Then, I was in Best Buy with a friend and he was buying a phone... An Android phone running Cupcake (1.6). He wasn't the techiest friend a guy could have, but he still loved technology. Now, this was a new phone at the time and of course, he had to get it. I thought the phone was going to be a ripoff of an iPhone but, soon I realized that it had potential. That's how my Android love developed. I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 from Sprint as well as an HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon.
