We all dreamed of bringing Nintendo DS games to our Android devices. Thanks to Jeffrey Quesnelle, it’s now possible with his Nintendo DS emulator, NDS4Droid. If you are already aware of the app, you may have known that games ran slowly and a couple were unplayable. That all changed with the recent update (release 19) that the developer rolled out this week, on March 25, 2013.
What’s new in release 19?
- A performance enhancement : 7-10% FPS increase.
Before the update, the Pokemon White ROM did not work. After updating the application to release 19, the start screen of the game loaded fine, however, it is still a bit slow. Other Nintendo DS games are now quicker than before, and not sluggish in terms of speed when comparing the app to release 18 or previous versions of the application.
